International Tracksuit Party Melbourne : Section 8

Section 8. Host to the best music in the arterial back laneways of Melbourne’s musical heart. On this auspicious International Tracksuit Day, was held the infamous Tracksuit Party from Secret Heat Music.

B-boys and b-girls united in their favourite sportswear brands from Adidas , Nike, Kangol to look fly and breakdance right.

DJ’s included ACN Seymour, Benny Badge, Tofu, Eddie Mac, Live music from Cocoa Noire.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey”, is a youth theatre production  filmed in 2013 combining digital video and stage. 25 kids were involved ranging in age from 4 to 13.

A new script was written by directors Edmund Dowling and Cobie van Ryswyk, adapting characters and storylines  from Tolkein’s ‘The Hobbit’ with a Shakespearean act format. Providing our beautiful backdrop, all scenes were shot in Yanchep National Park, about an hours drive from Perth.

The final production was held at Two Rocks Little Mermaid Theatre and was sponsored by the City of Wanneroo.

CUT & PASTE DVD : Bobby & The BlueJays Behind the Bird

The Bluejays, on a short visit back to Perth, promoting the release of their debut album ‘Colours In The Window’, caught up with Cut & Paste behind the back of The Bird.

Jesse and Felix discuss the move from Perth, line-up changes, meeting up again in Melbourne, getting a new drummer and writing and recording the album.
